you didn't see me i hope
for a few days you might see more canine entries here than others. well the reason is that this entire week, starting yesterday i have to take one of my dogs to the vet, post surgery. when one goes to the vet the experiences are naturally of the canine order. i have no problem. i love dogs and i love to capture them- in a passing sort of a way. here is another. this one hangs around a lot in the surgery, probably given up by his owners. at the time of the picture here, he was playing with the gauze and looked up at me at the sound of my camera, as though feeling conscious. but nothing to worry dear- am just sharing your wit with the world; not reporting on you. i have even christened him the vet's apprentice!

eastern window
here is a view from my room, towards the east. i call it my eastern window. these two pictures here are views from the same window...with and without the bamboo curtains we call 'chikk'
if you see close enough, in spite of the curtain, the greenery outside is visible. i am lucky that i live in a house with so much of greenery around...

mundane world...
my poor poor mundane world
nothing happens here with fanfare
but everything happens still
when i write i do not celebrate
nor do i a lament wail out-
in the quiet of my world i create, i write
birds come by accepting my humble offering of water
and whatever else i can muster...
i have no dazzling displays in my camera captured
not anything at all that can stir you at all
in my mundane world, only my spirit makes it happen
and not the charging energy of the marketplace.
