sometimes i just want to catch hold of a moment in time...in a lens view; nothing more. sometimes words would not say anything, but become empty. i just want to catch hold of the simple things and the simple people out there in the world who make this complex world happen. the blog image you see is the view outside my house...this profusion of flowers of 'malati' would have remained 'locked' in the planter(gamla) had i not planted it in the expansiveness of the earth in the park outside:)

are we allowed to drive looking backwards?

ginger in the driver's seat has a pertinent querry. am wondering what to reply:(

a nation of idlers and worthless men!

this picture is from a park in my colony...where people have gathered to watch a cricket final. this is monday btw, not the weekend...but in this nation of idlers and work shirkers, the earnings and games of 22 men on the field are more important than anything they can create for themselves. can anyone ask them why they dont play instead? i protest against the noise they create and the damage to the environment. this is a community that did not allow my dogs to run in the park because it was the mandate of the majority...see what they can do when they are in majority- an abuse of all their resources, however much they may have contributed to their construction.
